Policies

  • In order to continue to provide the best possible service and scheduling to my guests, I require 48 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. Since the appointment time is reserved specifically for you, a 50% cancellation fee will apply when less than 48 hours notice is given.

    In the case of a change of service with less than 48 hours notice given (ie. Solid Colour & Haircut or Blowdry Style → Haircut only), a 50% cancellation fee will apply to the portion of the service that was cancelled.

    All outstanding fees will be due prior to rescheduling or booking future appointments.

  • No-call/text no-shows will result in a fee of 100% of the scheduled service.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment I may not be able to accommodate your service and you may be asked to reschedule. In this case, a cancellation/no-show fee will apply and will be due prior to rescheduling.
    However, if I am able to accommodate you, I will do my best to complete what I can with the remainder of the appointment time without sacrificing quality of service.

  • All services rendered are non-refundable.

    However, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me within 7 days of receiving your service and I will be more than happy to make minor adjustments. Eligibility of adjustments will be assessed on a case by case basis.

    To maintain quality and safety, only products with sealed packaging are eligible for returns. Guests are welcome to exchange or return eligible unopened & unused products within 7 days of purchase. Receipts are required for refunds to be issued.

  • Please try to arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. I do not have a main waiting area, however there is a bench directly outside of my unit for you to sit until I am ready to begin your service.

    Please note that my suite is a private session studio. Due to space limitations, safety, and in order to maintain a distraction-free work environment, I am unable to accommodate additional guests/family/friends & children during appointments.

    I am happy to provide complimentary beverages and treats. Feel free to bring your personal water bottle, coffee, and/or small snacks, however, please refrain from bringing large meals or messy food items into the studio space.

  • Josée Michelle Hairstyling reserves the right to refuse services to any guest and to terminate any client relationship deemed necessary. Pushback on salon policies will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of services.

Location & Parking

Josée Michelle Hairstyling is located on the second floor of The York Building, 158, 2nd Avenue North (Unit 58).

Upon booking you will receive an access code for the building.

There is metered street parking in front of the building as well as Impark lots within the area. Please download and save your information in the Parkedin app before your appointment for your convenience.

The studio is open by appointment only. Scheduled product pick up times are available upon request. Hours of communication:

Tuesday - Thursday 9am to 9pm

Friday 9am - 5pm

Every other Saturday 9am - 4pm
